What are the risks and other considerations?
Ceramic braces have improved a great deal over the years. Yet, they are still a bit more prone to fracture than metal.

The brackets themselves usually do not stain. But the elastic ligatures that hold the arch wire to the bracket may stain. However, the ligatures are changed at each adjustment. So, even if your ligatures stain, you will have to wear them only for a short time.What colors of ligatures resist stains the best?
Clear or White colored ligatures stains the most. If you are worried about staining the ligatures or if you consume more staining food types such as curry, mustard, black coffee, red wine etc., we recommend that you consider ligatures in smoke, blue or other darker colors.What about smoking cigarettes, while wearing braces?
It is generally a good idea to refrain from smoking when you wear clear braces. It can stain your ligatures and possibly even the ceramic brackets.How often should I clean my teeth when I have the ceramic clear braces?
For any type of braces, we ask our patients to clean their teeth after every meal, and floss at least once every day. We advise our patients to carry a dental kit with them all the time, so that they can clean their teeth even when they eat at a restaurant. Additionally, when you wear braces, we ask that you consider getting one or two extra cleanings per year from your dentist or dental hygienist.How much the Ceramic Clear Braces treatment cost?
